Set for 5 p.m. on August 10, 2024, at the stunning Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass Resort and Hotel, the Great Gatsby Charity Gala is more than just an evening of elegance. It is a lifeline for families struggling with the immense challenges of caring for a child with a catastrophic illness. Every dollar raised at this event helps ease the financial and emotional burdens of these families, allowing them to focus on what truly matters: the health and recovery of their children.

From the moment you step into the gala, you will be transported to the lively and lavish world of the 1920s. Adorned in your finest Great Gatsby or black-tie attire, you’ll have the chance to indulge in an evening filled with exquisite dining, signature cocktails, captivating entertainment, and spirited dancing. The silent auction will feature one-of-a-kind items that are sure to delight and inspire generosity.
A Mission of Hope and Support
The Armer Foundation for Kids, founded by Matt and Jennifer Armer in 2019, has tirelessly worked to alleviate the financial strains that come with treating and caring for children with severe illnesses. Over the past five years, the foundation has raised over $1 million, directly aiding 20 local families through their most challenging times. Jennifer Armer emphasizes the profound impact of this gala, stating, “This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and all proceeds go towards helping relieve the stress and financial burden for parents who are supporting the treatment and recovery of their children as they fight for their lives.”
An Evening to Remember
Check-in begins at 5 p.m., where guests can peruse an array of auction items while savoring delectable appetizers such as chicken meatballs with sriracha chili sauce, baked brie with dried fruit, and coconut-crusted shrimp. The gourmet dinner will start with a mixed green salad, followed by a choice of New York Strip, Seared Salmon, or a Vegetarian Dish. The meal will culminate with a decadent Black Forest Cheesecake. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing Blackberry Mint Cocktail, one of the evening’s signature drinks.
