Announcing the Ahwatukee411 Halloween
Costume Contest Winners
If there is one thing we know for sure about Ahwatukee, it is that our community knows how to have fun. This past Halloween season, you proved it once again by flooding our inbox and social media feeds with some of the most creative, hilarious, and downright spooky costume submissions we have ever seen.
After much deliberation and plenty of smiles behind the scenes, we are absolutely thrilled to announce the official winners of the Ahwatukee411 Halloween Costume Contest.
A massive congratulations to our winners, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated. Your creativity is what makes our neighborhood so vibrant and special.
And the Winners Are…
Most Creative Family: The Bee Family Taking home the top prize for family creativity is the Bee Family, featuring Amanda Vital-Porter from our very own Zzeeks Pizza. Buzzing with charm and perfectly coordinated, this group proved that the best costumes are the ones you can share with the people you love. We can only imagine the amount of honey and yellow fabric that went into this winning look!
Best Pet Costume: Kelly Greco Our four-legged friends stole the show this year, but one pet stood out from the pack. A huge congratulations to Kelly Greco from Bark & Luv for securing the Best Pet Costume award. Whether your furry friend was dressed as a tiny superhero or a classic Halloween ghoul, you captured the true spirit of the season and reminded us that our pets are the best trick-or-treating companions we could ask for.
Scariest Costume: Dr. Doom When it came to delivering a genuine chill, one costume reigned supreme. Congratulations to Makayla Koines from Stella’s Ice Cream for bringing the iconic Marvel villain Dr. Doom to life. The attention to detail, the imposing presence, and the flawless execution made this a truly terrifying and unforgettable entry.
A411 People’s Choice: Race Car Driver Our community always has the final say, and this year, you voted for speed and style. Congratulations to Sierra Tannehill, who will be taking home a Main Event gift card for the People’s Choice award. Dressed as a sharp Race Car Driver, this entry captured the hearts of our voters and proved that classic, high-energy costumes never go out of style.
A Community Effort
Contests like this are not possible without the incredible support of our local businesses. We want to extend a special thank you to Zzeeks Pizza, Bark & Luv, Stella’s Ice Cream, and Main Event for being such wonderful partners in this year’s celebration. Your willingness to engage with our community and support local fun is exactly why we love calling Ahwatukee home.
To everyone who submitted a photo, voted for their favorite, or simply enjoyed looking at the amazing creativity on display: thank you. You made this contest a resounding success.
